CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's graduate student linebacker
Keye Thompson (Barberton, Ohio) earned Mid-American Conference East Defense Player of the Week accolades for his performance on Tuesday (Nov. 10).
Thompson led the Bobcats' defense in their 20-10 victory over the Buffalo (Nov. 7). The graduate student recorded a team-best 13 tackles, highlighted by 12 solo stops. He also led the team in tackles for loss (3), forced fumbles (1) and fumble recoveries (1).
The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 15 when they host the Central Michigan Chippewas. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESNPU.
