CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's redshirt junior punter
Jack Wilson (Lancefield, Victoria, Australia) earned Mid-American Conference East Special Teams Player of the Week accolades for his performance on Saturday (Oct. 21).
Wilson recorded three punts for the Bobcats last Saturday against Western Michigan. The redshirt junior recorded 144 total yards, averaging 48 per punt. His longest of the day clocked in at 55 yards.
The Bobcats return to Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium this Saturday (Oct. 28) for this year's Battle of the Bricks against the Miami RedHawks. The last time the two teams faced off on a Saturday was on Oct. 1, 2016, at Yager Stadium; holding Miami to one touchdown in the third quarter, Ohio won 17-7. The Bobcats last hosted the RedHawks on a Saturday in 2015, where they won in dominant fashion, 34-3.
