KENT, Ohio—The Ohio wrestling team returned to action today (Feb. 4), defeating Kent State 25-10.

At 133 pounds, redshirt junior Giovanni DiSabato (Hilliard, Ohio) scored two points in the last 10 seconds with a takedown, winning by decision, 4-2. Redshirt senior Kyran Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) also pulled ahead in the final seconds of the third period, defeating his opponent with a 1-0 decision. Redshirt senior Alec Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) followed at 149 pounds, winning by a 7-4 decision.

At 157 pounds, redshirt sophomore Jordan Slivka (Indianapolis, Ind.) pinned his opponent 1:46 into the dual. Freshman Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) won by a 13-8 decision at 174 pounds while 197 redshirt sophomore Carson Brewer (Avon, Ind.) defeated his opponent with a 10-1 major decision.

Sophomore Jordan Greer (Avon, Ohio), closed the match at 285 pounds, winning with a 6-3 decision.
