CONWAY, S.C. -- Due to severe rain storms today and continued rain the rest of the weekend, Ohio softball's opening weekend at the Kickin' Chicken Classic hosted by Coastal Carolina has been canceled.

The Bobcats began the day against UConn and were in the top of the fifth inning when the storms began. 

Ohio is back in action Feb. 27-28 at East Carolina.
