CLARION, Pa. – The Ohio wrestling team fell in their first dual match of the 2021-22 season against Clarion University, 25-12. The Bobcats finished the match with four individual weight class victories.
Redshirt junior
Giovanni DiSabato (Hilliard, Ohio) secured a 9-3 win by decision for 133-pound bout with a takedown. At 157, redshirt sophomore
Jordan Slivka (Indianapolis, Ind.) logged a 8-2 win by decision over Clarion's Kolby Ho. Freshman
Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) won the 174-pound bout by decision, 12-5. Rounding out Ohio's victories at 184 pounds, freshman
Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio) walked away with a 8-0 major decision victory over Clarion's Ryan Weinzen.
UP NEXT
The Bobcats return to action on Sunday, December 5 at 1 p.m. to take on West Virginia at the Convocation Center.
