Athens, Ohio— The Ohio football program added 10 student-athletes to its 2022 signing class during the early signing period, as announced today (Dec. 15) by first-year head coach Tim Albin.

Defensive tackle Rayyan Buell (Hornell, N.Y.), running back Dontierre Fisher (Chekotah, Okla.), wide receiver Rodney Harris II (Cincinnati, Ohio), defensive end Cedric Hillsman (Fort Valley, Ga.), defensive end Dontay Hunter II (Westerville, Ohio), wide receiver Jacoby Jones (Tunica, Miss.), cornerback Cam McCullum (Greenville, Miss.), safety Tyler Mullins (Grovetown, Ga.), kicker Nathanial Vakos (Avon, Ohio), offensive lineman Vance Van Every (Hernando, Miss.) and quarterback Cal Wither (Kitchener, Ontario) all signed and submitted their National Letters of Intent.

RAYYAN BUELL

Prior to Ohio: Recognized as a Distinguished Academic All- MACCC and first team NJCAA All-Academic selection at Northwest Mississippi Community College... while playing for Hornell High School, he was named the Section V Defensive Player of the Year twice... Named New York State Sportswriters Association Class B All-State third team as a linebacker... Named Hornell Sports Night Male Athlete of the Year. 

Personal: Born September 27, 2000... Son of Dave and Elisha... Watches Netflix in his free time.

Prior to Ohio: Finished career at Checotah High School with 67 touchdowns and 5,523 yards.. Named All-District four times... All Phoenix three times... All-District Offensive Player of the Year (2021)... All-Phoenix Newcomer of the Year (2019).

Personal: Born January 11, 2003... Son of Patrika... Has one brother, Elijah, and one sister, Destiny.


 
RODNEY HARRIS II

Prior to Ohio: Three-year letterwinner at Princeton High School… Served as team captain twice… Lead the Vikings to an 11-2 record and the regional semi-finals… Recorded 75 catches, 1566 yards and 20 touchdowns… Also earned three varsity letters in basketball and track.
 
Personal: Born March 7, 2004… Son of Rodney Sr. and Patricia… Has a younger sister, Ryann… Enjoys working out, watching football and playing video games.
