MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.-- The Ohio field hockey team (6-9, 3-2 MAC) took down Central Michigan in a 2-1 double overtime win on Friday afternoon.

Freshman forward Noa Desmaretz scored her first game-winning goal and third goal of the season less than a minute into the second overtime to lift the Bobcats to their second-straight MAC win.
Ohio has won each of its last three games in overtime.

The Bobcats and Chippewas were tied going into half, but graduate student Kaelyn Long broke the tie in the 33rd minute for her third goal in four games.

Central Michigan tied the game up and sent it into over time with a goal from Alaura Bohan in the 56th minute.

Ohio dominated the game offensively, taking 20 shots with 13 on goal and nine penalty corners compared to just five from the Chippewas. The Bobcats' defense held Central Michigan's offense to just seven shots with two on goal.
