MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.-- The Ohio field hockey team (6-9, 3-2 MAC) took down Central Michigan in a 2-1 double overtime win on Friday afternoon.
Freshman forward
Noa Desmaretz scored her first game-winning goal and third goal of the season less than a minute into the second overtime to lift the Bobcats to their second-straight MAC win.
Ohio has won each of its last three games in overtime.
The Bobcats and Chippewas were tied going into half, but graduate studentÂ
Kaelyn Long broke the tie in the 33
rd minute for her third goal in four games.
Central Michigan tied the game up and sent it into over time with a goal from Alaura Bohan in the 56
th minute.
Ohio dominated the game offensively, taking 20 shots with 13 on goal and nine penalty corners compared to just five from the Chippewas. The Bobcats' defense held Central Michigan's offense to just seven shots with two on goal.

Nele Graner played all 71 minutes with one save and one goal allowed.
The Bobcats will return home on Friday, Oct. 22 Â for a rivalry match against Miami at 2 p.m.
