CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ohio men's basketball sophomore guard Jason Preston was named the Mid-American Conference East Player of the Week for his performance the week of Feb. 3, the league announced today (Feb. 10).

It is the fourth time this season that Preston (Orlando, Fla.) has been named the MAC East Player of the Week.

Preston led the Bobcats to victory against MAC rival Miami on Feb. 8 where he recorded the first triple-double for the Bobcats since 2011. Preston scored 15 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. He shot 6-of-9 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the free throw line.

Ohio continues MAC play on Tuesday, Feb. 10 when they take on Western Michigan in the Convo. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
