Ohio Men's and Women's Cross Country Open 2020 Season at Cardinal ClassicÂ

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ohio women's and men's cross country teams opened the 2020 regular season on Friday (Oct. 30), competing at the 2020 Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State.
The women's team finished in second-place with 51 total points, just edging out host Ball State. Miami took away the team crown, finishing ahead of the Bobcats.
Individually, senior Hailey Bowes (Arlington Heights, Ill.) was the Bobcats' top finisher, coming in at22:08.8 and in fifth place.
On the men's side, the Bobcats finished in second place with 33 points, with Miami finishing ahead of them.
Individually, senior Josh Park (Amherst, Ohio) came out on top, finishing in 24:31.1, and 26.5 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
The Bobcats return to action next week when they head to Bowling Green to race on Saturday, November 7. The women are scheduled to race at 2 p.m., with the men's race following at 2:40 p.m.
