QUOTABLE
Fourth-year head coach Rob Smith on the key to the team's doubleheader sweep
"There were a lot of individual moments, but I think, collectively, it was just about bringing incredible energy for 18 innings. That's what our guys did. We talked about it after Friday's game, that we had to bring some juice this weekend, and they brought it, man. They played with a lot of energy and lot of intent. Anybody that saw all three games clearly saw a difference between Friday's effort and what we were able to do today in terms of how we played. That's a testament to our guys. They showed a lot of toughness."
Junior left fielder Mitch Longo on the walk-off victory in game two of the doubleheader
"I knew we were going to win right when that inning started. I feel like after my at-bat, that kind of sent a message to the dugout that we were not going to lose this game and a message to everybody else in our conference that we're not done. We're not laying down, and we're here to stay."
Senior third baseman John Adryan on his home run hitting this season
"It's just sort of my approach. I just try to sit a pitch, and, if I get it, put a good swing on it, and, hopefully, I barrel it up. At the end of the day, I just try to do whatever the team needs me to do to help get a win. If they want me to bunt, hit singles, whatever they need, I'll go do."
