HUNTINGTON, W.V. â€" The Ohio track & field team sits in first place after four events scored a the Thundering Herd Invitational Friday. The Bobcats picked up 21 points and lead second-place Charlotte by one point at the event.
Sophomore Christina Seas (West Union, Ohio) finished second int he women’s 5K clocking a time of 17:18.67. Freshman Alyssa Atkinson (Granville, Ohio) came in at 17:25.49 to finish in fourth while senior Allison Roeth (Houston, Ohio) finished 10th at 18:22.16.
Senior Donyelle Brown (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) was third in the women’s weight throw with a throw of 18.09m. Junior Emma Ryan (Vincent, Ohio) was seventh at 16.39.
Action continues at the Thundering Herd Invitational Saturday.
