ATHENS, OHIO - The Ohio-Wright State softball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday at the Ohio Softball Field was rained out. The games could be made up at a later date this season.

After the start was pushed back to 2:30 p.m. from the original start time a half hour earlier, the teams played for two minutes before the competition was halted for good.

The Bobcats will begin Mid-American Conference (MAC) play on Friday, April 1, when they host the Ball State Cardinals. The games will serve as the conference opener for both squads. A twinbill, first pitch is slated for 1 p.m. at the Ohio Softball Field.
