Kate Dennis is a Dual MBA/MSA graduate student at Ohio University and is currently an Assistant Coordinator of Development with the Ohio Bobcat Club. In this role, she explores relationships with alumni, as well as supporting the fundraising and development efforts for the annual fund, major gifts and capital projects that benefit Ohio University Athletics.
Dennis began her career at Ohio University in 2020, originally as a student-athlete playing on the Women’s Basketball team. She played 4 years of college basketball, graduating with her undergraduate degree in 3 years in Sport Management, with minors in Community & Public Health, Advertising & Public Relations, and Coaching. She also gained a certificate in Festivals, Entertainment, & Event Management. Dennis has had experience working at the Ryder Cup in Whistling Straits, WI, working at basketball camps with PGC basketball and attending the MAC Football Media Day in 2021 & 2022.
Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Dennis has a strong passion for building relationships, making sporting events the best experience possible and bringing positivity and learning. Her favorite sports memory is the first Wisconsin football Jump Around at Camp Randall in 2023. In her free time, she loves to attend concerts, traveling, make people smile, be with her family and try different foods, drinks and hobbies.
