Joe McCoy is a Dual MBA/MSA graduate student at Ohio University and a current member of the Learfield Ohio University Sports Properties Team. In this role, he identifies and secures strategic partnerships and sponsorships to drive revenue for Ohio University Athletics. His work primarily supports football and men’s and Women’s Basketball, while also contributing to the broader mission of strengthening the Bobcats’ athletic budget.
Previously, McCoy served as the Coordinator for Marketing and Social Media for Ohio University’s Student Human Resources Management Programs, which provide undergraduate students with experiential learning opportunities in the field of human resources.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Educational and Child Advocacy Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges (Geneva, NY) in 2024, with minors in Entrepreneurship and American Studies. While there, he was a dual-sport athlete in football and baseball and served as a student representative for the Admissions Office.
Originally from Manchester, Vermont, McCoy is passionate about building relationships and developing partnerships that support athletic programs and facilities on a global scale. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running and spending quality time with family and friends.
