Jill Pittman joined Ohio University in October 2012 and joined the Ohio Athletics staff in January 2019. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Administrative Services.
Pittman previously served as an Executive Assistant in the Office of the Executive Dean at Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Pittman provided invaluable assistance to the Executive Dean, facilitating travel arrangements, coordinating meetings, and managing communications. With a keen eye for detail, she ensures the smooth execution of various administrative tasks, from maintaining records to creating travel itineraries.
Prior to her role with OUHCOM, Pittman served as an Executive Assistant & Events Specialist in the Office of the President. She played a key role in organizing high-profile events and supporting senior executives. Her strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively were instrumental in managing complex schedules, coordinating travel logistics, and responding to inquiries from executive and legislative offices.
Pittman got her start as a bank teller and student office assistant where she honed her customer service skills and attention to detail, demonstrating a proactive approach to meeting the needs of clients and colleagues alike.
Pittman is from Athens, Ohio, and received both her bachelor’s and master’s in education at Ohio University.
