Ella Coxe currently serves as the Assistant Coordinator of Athletics Executive Operations and is a dual MBA/MSA graduate student at Ohio University. In her role, Coxe coordinates and serves as a liaison for visiting athletic directors and VIP guests, collaborates with internal departments to gather information for game day itineraries, and supports Director of Athletics Julie Cromer with various administrative and operational tasks to advance department goals. 

Coxe graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Journalism and in Exercise and Sport Science, with concentrations in public relations and sport administration. During her four years at UNC, she worked as an athletic communications student assistant, assisting with media relations for volleyball, field hockey and men’s basketball. Her responsibilities included live stat tracking, press conference operations, social media coverage and publishing postgame content for GoHeels.com. She has also interned with French | West | Vaughan, supporting their corporate communications accounts, and with the United Soccer League as a communications intern. 

A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Coxe enjoys spending time at the beach, playing pickleball, taking long walks and being with friends and family. Her favorite sports memory is watching UNC men’s basketball’s redemption tour in 2017 to capture their 7th national championship.
