Dusty Kilgour joined Ohio Athletics in February 2026 as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. In this role, he provides executive leadership for athletics development, the Ohio Bobcat Club, annual giving, major gifts, ticket sales, premium seating and hospitality, marketing and fan engagement, corporate partnerships, licensing, and external revenue generation. He also oversees strategic communications and stewardship initiatives designed to strengthen alumni engagement, enhance the fan experience, and advance the department's long-term fundraising and revenue goals.
Since joining Ohio Athletics, Kilgour has helped lead one of the most successful fundraising periods in department history. In fiscal year 2026, Ohio Athletics raised a record $4.3 million in philanthropic support, a 230 percent increase over the previous year and the highest annual fundraising total in department history. He has also played a key leadership role in advancing the Stand Up for Ohio Football Campaign, a transformational initiative focused on enhancing student-athlete resources, scholarships, facilities, and operational support. The campaign has generated significant momentum among alumni, donors, and supporters while strengthening the foundation for the future success of Ohio Football.
Prior to joining Ohio Athletics, Kilgour served as Chief of Staff for Ohio University Advancement and the Ohio University Foundation. He began his Ohio University career as Director of Golf and Tennis and later held several leadership positions across the institution, including Executive Director of Event Services. Prior to Ohio University, he served as Director of Baseball and Stadium Operations for the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. A three-time Ohio University graduate, Kilgour earned degrees in Sports Sciences, Business Administration, and Sports Administration.
A native of Jackson, Ohio, he and his wife, Katie ('05), have three children and remain proud supporters of Ohio University and the Bobcat community.
