Aaron McCloskey is a Dual MBA/MSA graduate student and currently serves as the Assistant Coordinator for Marketing & Fan Engagement. His role focuses on coordinating Bobcat Boulevard for all home football games and on-court activations for men’s basketball, as well as serving as the lead director for marketing & fan engagement for volleyball, wrestling, and softball. Other individual duties include coordinating O-Zone, Rufus Kids Club, and various community outreach events, as well as creating various marketing materials.  

McCloskey earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University in 2024. While at Slippery Rock, he served as the head student assistant for the men’s basketball team for three seasons. Before coming to Ohio, he interned with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission as a Sports & Events intern for the Pan-American Master’s Games, serving as the golf liaison for the event. He has previously held event operations roles at the University of Pittsburgh, the Altoona Curve, and the Slippery Rock Athletic Department.  

A native of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, McCloskey is very passionate about Pittsburgh sports. McCloskey’s favorite sports memory is a tie between being a part of the SRU men’s basketball playoff run in 2023 and the Pittsburgh Pirates' postseason run in 2013.
