Ohio Cross Country Heads to Madison For Great Lakes Regional

MADISON, Wisc. – Ohio men's and women's cross-country head to Madison, Wisc. to take part in the 2019 NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 15. The women's 6K race begins at 12:30 p.m. ET, while the men's 10K race starts at 1:30 p.m. ET.

The women's 6K championship race will feature 33 teams, and 294 individual competitors. Top ranked teams in the country No. 6 Michigan State, No. 7 Wisconsin, No. 11 Michigan, and No. 20 State will be in attendance. Of the Top 30 teams in the nation, five hail from the Great Lakes Region as Butler is ranked 24th nationally. The Ohio women's team is currently ranked 15th in the Great Lakes Region.

The men's 10K race will feature 30 teams and 260 individual competitors. There are five nationally ranked teams including No. 9 Wisconsin, No. 13 Indiana, No. 15 Purdue, No. 16 Michigan, and No. 19 Notre dame.
