"We're resilient", said second-year head coach Mason Norman. "We've faced a lot of adversity in this program. After a good year last year, the mentality has changed. We had a great summer leading into the fall, and there have been challenges along the way, but everyone on this team is resilient. Every day they come in and work hard, and that's what has set them up to have a great first semester."
Junior Samantha Glass (Villa Hills, Ky.) has been a key performer for Ohio this season, taking a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly against Bowling Green and #19 Akron, with times of 2:06.77 and 2:04.63. Glass said about the week off from competition before the OSU Invite, "We're still keeping the intensity up. We started a drop-taper this week, which consists of short interval, fast training, so we're hoping that will get us ready for our mid-season meet this week."
