@Ohio_Swim_Dive Releases 2017-18 Meet Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – Three home meets against Buffalo, Marshall and Bowling Green highlight the Ohio swimming and diving team's 2017-18 schedule, fourth-year head coach Rachel Komisarz-Baugh announced. The Bobcats also look forward to hosting this year's 2017-18 Mid-American Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Ohio University Aquatic Center.

The Bobcats open the season on the road against Youngstown State on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. The following weekend, Saturday, Oct. 28, Ohio will travel to Muncie, Ind. to take on MAC rival Ball State at 1 p.m.

The Bobcats compete at the Ohio University Aquatic Center for the first time in the 2017-18 season on Saturday, Nov. 4 against Buffalo at 12 p.m. Ohio will hit the road again to compete in the TYR Invite hosted by Northwestern in Evanston, Ill. from Nov. 16-19.

Ohio's final event of 2017 will take place in Columbus, Ohio where the Bobcats will compete in the US Winter Nationals from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.

The Bobcat swimmers will open up action in 2018 in a dual meet against Duquesne and Xavier on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. That same weekend, the divers will head to Buffalo, N.Y. to compete in the Buffalo Diving Invite from Jan. 13 to Jan. 15.

Ohio jumps back into conference action with their final away meet of the regular season against Akron in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m.

Ohio returns home for a busy weekend against Marshall at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26th and against Bowling Green on Saturday, Jan. 27th at 2 p.m. The Bobcats will be recognizing their three seniors, Katie Lemen (Carmel, Ind.), Elena Patz (Waunakee, Wis.) and Caroline Raley (Mobile, Ala.) before they take on the Falcons on Saturday. 

Ohio will host the 2017-18 MAC Championships in their very own Ohio University Aquatic Center from Feb. 21-24. 

NCAA Diving Zones will take place March 8-10 in Columbus, Ohio.

The NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will take place the following weekend, March 14-17, and will also be held in Columbus, Ohio.
