2017-18: At the MAC Championships, posted season-best times in the 50 free (24.96), 100 breaststroke (1:07.80), and in the 200 breaststroke (2:33.38)… Recorded a season-best time in the 100 free at the TYR Invitational with a time of 56.41… Recorded a season-best time against Buffalo in the 200 free relay clocking in at 1:40.23 and against Akron in the 400 free relay clocking in at 3:42.71.

Prior to Ohio: Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Williams Bay High School under coach Glenn Biller… Also swam for Lake Geneva Swim Club under coaches Frank and Judy Scott… Named team captain in 2016 and club team representative in 2015… Helped her team to become four-time conference champions and four-time sectional champions (2013-16)… Won the conference 100-yard breast 2014-16, sectional 100-yard breast in 2015, and the conference 50-yard free… Was named fastest freshman in 2013 and All-Conference from 2013-16.

Personal: Daughter of Mathew and Karen O’Brien… Has two sisters, Carly and Lauren… Lists favorite athlete as Rebecca Soni… Enjoys spending time with family, tubing, wake surfing, water skiing, and playing with her dog… Plans to major in Biology to become an orthodontist and own her own practice.
