Ohio University

A 2001 graduate of Ohio University, Kelly Hockenberger joined Ohio Athletics in 2008 and currently serves as a staff athletic trainer for volleyball, wrestling and softball. Her duties include overseeing all facets of sports medicine for the Bobcats' wrestling, softball and volleyball teams.

Prior to joining the staff at Ohio, the Toledo native spent five years as an assistant athletic trainer at Northern Illinois University, working with the Huskies' baseball and volleyball teams. Hockenberger also served as an instructor in NIU's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education.

After graduating from Ohio in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, Hockenberger performed a two-year stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Arkansas State University. She worked with the Indians', now Red Wolves, women's basketball and football squads while earning a Master of Science in Physical Education.
