HUNTINGTON, W. Va. -- The Ohio men's golf team completed the first two rounds of the 2019 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational today at Guyan Golf and Country Club. The Bobcats are in 14th place with a combined team total score of 596 (+28) after carding rounds of 303 (+19) and 293 (+9).
Dayton is leading the way through two rounds of action, following a first-round 271 (-13) up with a 272 (-12) in the second for a combined team total score of 543 (-25). Senior Domenic Maricocchi paced the Flyers and is leading the field with a 132 (-10) after carding rounds of 67 (-4) and 65 (-6).
Junior Zach Mandry (Solon, Ohio) is leading Ohio with a 146 (+4) after he tallied round scores of 78 (+7) and 68 (-3), putting him in a tie for 57th place.
Junior Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) is in a tie for 70th after he shot rounds of 73 (+2) and 75 (+4) for a two-round total of 148 (+6),
Junior Tanner Johnson (Venetia, Pa.) is tied for 75th with a 150 (+8) after compiling round scores of 76 (+5) and 74 (+3).
Making his collegiate debut, freshman Felipe Darquea (Quito, Ecuador) is in tie for 79th with a 152 (+10). He tallied matching rounds of 76 (+5).
Also making his collegiate debut was freshman Jack Towarnicky (New Bern, N.C.), who shot rounds of 82 (+11) and 77 (+6) for a two-round total of 159 (+17).
Competing as an individual, junior Austin Dyson (Dublin, Ohio) is also in a tie for 79th with a 152 (+10). He shot rounds of 77 (+6) and 75 (+4).
The third and final round of the 2019 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational will begin with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start on Tuesday (Sept. 10).
