ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team will close out its 2018-19 regular season by taking part in the Wright State Invitational, which will be held Sunday (April 14) and Monday (April 15) at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio.
The tournament gets underway on Sunday beginning with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start of 36 holes of continuous play. Competition will conclude Monday with the final 18 holes beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
The Bobcats are set to compete against host Wright State, Butler, Cleveland State, Fort Wayne, Green Bay, Indianapolis, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Robert Morris, Valparaiso and Wittenberg.
Ohio will be sending senior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio), redshirt junior Michael Kenney (Kent, Ohio) and sophomores Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio), Austin Dyson (Dublin, Ohio), Tanner Johnson (Venetia, Pa.) and Zach Mandry (Solon, Ohio) to the Wright State Invitational.
The Bobcats last competed April 1-2 at the Butler Spring Invitational at Highland Golf Club in Indianapolis. Ohio finished in a tie for fifth place with Valparaiso with a total team score of 580 (+20). Crawford led the way for the Bobcats, tying for 13th with a 143 (+3).
After the Wright State Invitational, Ohio will compete in the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championships, which are set to take place April 26-28 at Club Walden in Aurora, Ohio.
