ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team is in Williamsburg, Va., this week to compete in the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.
The tournament features 54 holes of competition over three days at Golden Horseshoe Gold Course, which plays at par 71 and 6,817 yards. Tee times are set for 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET on Sunday (March 24) and Monday and (March 25) and a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start on Tuesday (March 26).
Ohio is set to compete against Binghamton, Campbell, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Fairleigh Dickinson, Longwood, Loyola, Mount St. Mary's, Old Dominion, Penn, Radford, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.), St. Peter's, Temple, VCU, William & Mary and Youngstown State.
The Bobcats last competed at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate (March 8-10) at Pinehurst No. 8 in Pinehurst, N.C. Ohio finished 11th with a total team score of 908 (+56).
After the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, Ohio will compete in the Butler Spring Invitational, which will be held April 1-2 at Highland Golf Club in Indianapolis.
