ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team begins the March portion of its 2018-19 schedule with a trip to North Carolina for the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, which will be held this weekend (March 8-10) at Pinehurst No. 8.
The Bobcats will be competing in the Pinehurst Intercollegiate for the second year in a row. Ohio placed 12th in the tournament in 2018.
Pinehurst No. 8 is a par 71 course that plays at 6,937 yards.
Ohio is set to battle Belmont, Davidson, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Longwood, Marshall, Morehead State, Radford, Siena and Xavier. Radford won the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in 2018 with a combined total team score of 886 (+34).
The Bobcats last competed Feb. 11-12 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla., finishing in sixth place.
Following the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, Ohio will be back in action March 24-26 at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
