Prior to Ohio: Played high school football at Mainland High School in Ormond Beach, Fla...named 2014 Daytona Beach News Journal’s Defensive Player of the Year following senior campaign in which he had 30 sacks and 47 tackles for loss...led team to a 13-1 record and a No. ranking in Florida Class 6A...during senior season his defense had five shutouts and allowed just 10.0 points per game to opponents...Defensive MVP for Volusia County and Whitehouse Gables...Quarterbacks Club Defensive Player of the Year and Frist Team All-State following his senior season.
