Biography

Career: Has played in 24 games between UNLV and Ohio, making 18 starts, all of which came at UNLV ... Has logged 197 completions on 394 passing attempts (50%), throwing for 2,513 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a passing rating of 113.4 ... Has also rushed for 1,663 yards and 20 touchdowns on 308 attempts. 

2021: Played in all 12 games for the Bobcats… Completed 29-of-49 passing attempts for 350 yards… Was second on team with 552 rushing yards on 92 carries and seven touchdowns… Recorded NCAA record for longest run by a quarterback with 99-rard touchdown run against Buffalo (Oct. 16).

2020: Played in all three games ... Completed five of his nine passing attempts (55.6%) for 48 yards and one touchdown ... Also gained 114 yards on 19 rushing attempts, scoring two touchdowns ... Made his Ohio debut at Central Michigan (Nov. 4), rushing seven times for 32 yards and completing one of his three passing attempts for four yards ... Rushed four times for 17 yards, including a one-yard touchdown, and completed two of his three passing attempts for a season-high 30 yards in a 24-10 win over Akron (Nov. 28) ... Completed two of his three passing attempts for 14 yards, including a two-yard touchdown pass for his first scoring strike at Ohio, and rushed a season-high eight times for a season-high 65 yards, including a season-long 29-yard run for a touchdown, in a 52-10 win over Bowling Green (Nov. 28).

Prior to Ohio: Saw action in 21 games with 18 starts over the last three seasons at UNLV ... Holds UNLV's record for career net rushing yards by a quarterback with 1,549, a total that also ranked 10th in Mountain West Conference history ... His 18 career rushing touchdowns tied for eighth in school history for any position, and he is the only signal-caller in school history to rush for at least 100 net yards in a game more than three times during his career (six) ... Passed for 2,465 yards and 18 touchdowns over his three years under center for the Rebels ... Was named Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2017 after a record-setting debut campaign with nine starts in 10 games played, breaking the program records for both rushing yards in a season by a freshman and rushing yards in a season by a quarterback with 780 and setting the UNLV record for rushing touchdowns by a freshman in a season with eight ... Also threw for a career-high 1,471 yards in his rookie campaign and followed it up by tossing a career-high 10 touchdown passes as a sophomore ... Personal: Born Dec. 4, 1997 ... Son of Sam and Leslie Rogers ... Has three older brothers, Sam Jr., Tremaine and Aaron, one older sister, Ariel, and one younger brother, Zane ... His father, Sam, was a linebacker and played for the Colorado Buffaloes and then went on to the NFL and played for the Buffalo Bills (seven seasons), San Diego Chargers (one) and Atlanta Falcons (two), with his 10-year pro career included 30 sacks and nine fumble recoveries.
