Katie Maxim joined Ohio as an assistant coach in July 2025.
Maxim played field hockey at Central Michigan from 2020-2024 as a goalkeeper. Maxim posted a .813 save percentage her senior season and was a two-time MAC Defensive Player of the Week. She was a three-time NFHCA Academic Squad member, a three-time Academic All-MAC selection and was a member of SAAC all four years, including the social media chair.
Most recently, Maxim has served as a USA Field Hockey Nexus Coach, serving the Michigan, Chicago, Florida and St. Louis sites. In this roll Maxim facilitated and executed drills and implemented a fundamental program in various ways. She also collaborated with staff from a variety of experiences and colleges.
Maxim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan in 2024 and will earn her Master of Educational Leadership from Ohio in May 2026.
