ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Field Hockey's junior Leah Warren (Hamilton, New Zealand) is the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office today (Sept. 24).

Warren provided a huge spark for the Bobcats in their big come-from-behind win against Appalachian State on Friday, Sept. 20. She scored two goals in the 6-5 win, including the game-winner in the last minute of regulation.

This is the first POTW winner for Ohio since Maria Russell won it for the Bobcats in 2017. Goalie Alex Pennington won the defensive award in the same week.

Warren and the Bobcats hit the road this weekend weekend when they take on the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday, Sept. 28. First touch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
