-Akron snapped a nine-game losing streak in the series with Ohio
-Ohio is 19-14-1 all-time against Akron
-Ohio set a single-season team scoring record with 443 points

-Ohio RS senior quarterback Nathan Rourke rushed for a 68-yard touchdown at 12:56 of the first quarter. It was the fastest Ohio has scored a touchdown this season.
-Rourke finished the game with two rushing touchdowns and a career-high 165 yards rushing.
-With his two rushing touchdowns, Rourke tied the Ohio record for rushing touchdowns in a single-season (19).
-it marked the fifth game this season that Rourke has rushed for over 100-yards and the eighth where the Bobcats have had a 100-yard rusher.
-RS senior wide receiver Brendan Cope recorded his first touchdown pass when he took a reverse from Ouellette and found Rourke in the end zone. It was also Rourke's first receiving touchdown.
-Ohio's 14-point first quarter tied the most it has scored in an opening frame this season (Miami, 14).
-RS senior running back Dorian Brown scored a touchdown with six-seconds in the second quarter, it was his seventh of the season.
-RS junior wide receiver Papi White tied his career-high with six receptions, he finished with 68 yards receiving and 38 yards rushing.

-Akron's touchdown with 4:13 left in the opening quarter was the first touchdown in the series for the Zips since the 2014 game (8:25, 3rd QTR).
-RS senior cornerback Bradd Ellis tied the Ohio single-season record with his 18th pass breakup of the season.
-RS sophomore Javon Hagan had 14 tackles, a career-high. He also had eight solo stops, which tied his previous career high.
-RS senior defensive end Kevin Robbins finished the game with three tackles for loss, a career-high.
-Akron finished the game with 322 passing yards, it was the most against Ohio this season.

-RS senior running back Dorian Brown had a season-long 36-yard kickoff return. Brown finished the game with 69 kickoff return yards.
-RS sophomore kicker Louie Zervos drilled both of his field goal attempts, 19 and 46-yards. Zervos was also 4-4 on PAT.
