ATHENS, Ohio (Nov. 13) — As we prepare for the Thanksgiving season, Ohio Athletics and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is proud to host a campus and community-wide food drive in partnership with the Joe Burrow Foundation. Fans attending the Nov. 18 football game vs. UMass are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items. You can purchase tickets to the contest vs. the Minutemen by clicking here.
Fans who donate on game day and are in attendance will be entered into an exclusive raffle sports bundle, with winners announced during the third quarter. The raffle items, donated by Ohio Athletics and the Joe Burrow Foundation, will be revealed in the coming days.
Ohio student-athletes will host a pregame collection table on Bobcats Blvd., where supporters can drop off donations and learn more about the impact of their support. Every donation makes a difference. $1 equals one can, meaning both physical and monetary donations go directly toward feeding families in need.
The Food Drive runs until Monday, November 24. If you can't attend Tuesday's game, donations can be dropped off at the Convocation Center, Sook Center, or Peden Stadium. Everything collected will be delivered to Cats' Cupboard and the Southeast Ohio Food Pantry.
