BUFFALO, N.Y.—The Ohio wrestling team (4-10, 3-4 MAC) traveled to Buffalo, N.Y. for the last dual of the season before the Mid-American Conference Championships. After a hard fought match, the Bobcats fell to the Buffalo Bulls (8-12, 4-3 MAC), 22-17.
Redshirt junior
Oscar Sanchez (Genoa, Ohio) opened with a 6-0 decision at 125 pounds. Sophomore
Aidan Waszak (Wheaton, Ill.) represented Ohio at 141 pounds, winning with a 3-2 decision.
At 165 pounds, redshirt junior
Jordan Slivka (Indianaoplis, Ind.) defeated his opponent with an 8-0 major decision while sophomore
Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) was dominant at 174 pounds, winning by a 18-6 major decision. Sophomore
Zayne Lehman followed at 184 pounds with an 8-5 decision.
