CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 1) the 2023 MAC Wrestling Pre-Season poll. These rankings are provided by WrestleStat.
Ohio was ranked fifth in the preseason voting, finishing just behind Rider. Lock Haven currently sits in first in the conference and is followed by second-place Central Michigan and third-place Cleveland State. A look at the full team rankings is listed below.

Ohio wrestling begins the 2023-24 season on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the 2023 Southeast Open hosted by Virginia Tech. The Open is set to take place at Cregger Center in Salem, Va. with competition starting at 10 a.m.
