The Ohio men's basketball team (8-5) opens Mid-American Conference play with two road games this week. The Bobcats begin the week on Jan. 3 when they head to Buffalo, N.Y. to take on Buffalo (6-7). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside Alumni Arena. Ohio is back on the road on Saturday, Jan. 7 when the Bobcats head to Bowling Green (6-7) to take on the Falcons. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. inside the Stroh Center
The Bobcats are coming off a 76-59 victory over Chicago State on Dec. 30 and are winners of three-straight games to close out non-conference play. Buffalo enters the matchup with the Bobcats after falling to Michigan State on Dec. 30. Meanwhile, Bowling Green has won two-straight and will take on Eastern Michigan on Tuesday before hosting the Bobcats on Saturday.

The Ohio women's basketball team (2-9) opens Mid-American Conference play this week for two matchups. Ohio opens the week on the road when they head to Akron (9-2) on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Tip-off with the Zips is set for 7 p.m. inside James A. Rhodes Arena. Ohio is back in Athens on Saturday, Jan. 7 when they host Kent State (8-3). Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.
Ohio is looking to open MAC play on a strong foot, while Akron enters the matchup with Ohio on a four-game winning streak. Kent State has won three-straight and will open up MAC play against Buffalo on Jan. 4.

After closing out 2022 with a win, Ohio wrestling is finally back in action on Friday, Jan. 6 when they head to Morgantown, W. Va. to take on West Virginia. Match time is set for 8 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+ .
The Bobcats are coming off two-straight dual victories, while West Virginia is coming off a 12th-place finish at the 2022 Midlands Championship Dec. 29-30.
