ATHENS, Ohio—Three Ohio wrestling student-athletes earned honorable mention recognition on the FloWrestling 2022-23 NCAA Division I rankings.
Graduate student
Alec Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) represents the Bobcats at 149 pounds, sophomore
Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) represents Ohio at 174 pounds and redshirt junior
Jordan Slivka (Indianapolis, Ind.) represents the team at 165 pounds. 33 wrestlers are ranked at each weight class with nine earning honorable mention.
Additionally, Hagan and Perrine also earned InterMat NCAA Division I rankings. Hagan was ranked 25
th at 149 pounds while Perrine was ranked 28
th at 174 pounds.
In the 2021-22 season, all three wrestlers advanced to the MAC tournament. Hagan finished seventh, Slivka finished fourth at 157 pounds while Perrine finished third. Both Slivka and Perrine earned at-large bids to the NCAA tournament.
