ATHENS, Ohio -- The 2022-23 Ohio Athletics season is officially underway! Ohio soccer opens the regualr season and volleyball and field hockey get underway with exhibitions. 

SOCCER
Aug. 18  / at Duquesne / Rooney Field / Pittsburgh, Pa./ 4 p.m. / ESPN+ / Live Stats
Aug. 21 / at Xavier / Corcoran Field / Cincinnati, Ohio / 7:30 p.m. / Watch / Live Stats

The 2022 season is officially underway for the Ohio soccer squad. Led by reigning MAC Coach of the Year Aaron Rodgers, Ohio looks to capitalize on their successful 2021 campaign. 

After two tune-ups in Athens last week, Ohio opens the regular season on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Duquesne. First touch is set for 4 p.m. at Rooney Field in Pittsburgh, Pa. Ohio is back in action on Sunday, Aug. 24 when they head to Cincinnati, Ohio to face off with Xavier. First touch is set for 7:30 p.m. at Corcoran Field. 

VOLLEYBALL
Aug. 16  / vs Marshall (Exhibition) / Convocation Center / Athens, Ohio / 6 p.m. 
Aug. 19 / Green and White Scrimmage (Exhibition) / Convocation Center / Athens, Ohio / 7 p.m. 

Ohio volleyball is back in the Convocation Center this week for two exhibition matches. Ohio will host Marshall on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. before returning to action on Friday, Aug. 19 in the annual Green and White Scrimmage at 7 p.m. 

Admission is free for to both matches. 

The Bobcats regular season begins Aug. 27-28 when Ohio heads to Lexington, Ky. to take on Marquette and Kentucky. 

FIELD HOCKEY
Aug. 17  / at Ohio State (Exhibition) / Buckeye Varsity Field / Columbus, Ohio / 3 p.m. 
Aug. 21 / at Kent State (Exhibition) / Murphy-Mellis Field / Kent, Ohio / 12 p.m.

Ohio field hockey opens up exhibition play this week starting on Wednesday, Aug. 17 whe they go to Ohio State for a match set for 3 p.m. The Bobcats are back in action on Sunday, Aug. 21 when they go to Kent State for their second exhibition match of the week. First touch is set for Noon ET. 

The Bobcats regular season begins Sunday, Aug. 28 when Ohio hosts Cal at Noon ET at Pruitt Field.
