PAW PRINTS: This Week Ahead in Ohio Athletics

ATHENS, Ohio --
Both the baseball and softball teams compete this week, plus both golf teams. That and much more in this week's edition of Paw Prints.

BASEBALL
April 1-3 / at Central Michigan / Theunissen Stadium / Mount Pleasant, Mich.

The Ohio baseball team is back in action this weekend for a series against Central Michigan. The Bobcats split their last series against the Chippewas in 2021. The series will kick off on Friday at 3 p.m., followed by a doubleheader starting at noon on Saturday. The teams will face off once again on Sunday at 3 p.m. to complete the four-game series.

MEN'S GOLF
March 28-30 / Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate / Pawleys Island, S.C.

The Bobcats men's golf team will travel to South Carolina on Tuesday to compete in the Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate. The tournament will be a three-day event. Ohio is coming off a 15th place finish at the Ross Collegiate Classic.

SOFTBALL
April 1-2 / at Miami / Hayden Park / Oxford, Ohio

The Ohio softball team will travel to Oxford this weekend to take on rival Miami. The Bobcats will face off with the Redhawks for a three-game series started off at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD
April 1-2 / Oliver Nikoloff Invitational / Gettler Stadium / Cincinnati, Ohio

The Ohio track and field team will travel to the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational over the weekend hosted by Cincinnati. The Bobcats are coming off a 12th place finish at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open.

WOMEN'S GOLF
March 28-30 / Golfweek Any Given Tuesdat Intercollegiate / Pawleys Island, S.C.

The women's golf team will be making the trip to South Carolina for the Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate. The Bobcats finished 15th at the 2022 Spring Break Shootout in their last competition two weeks ago.
