ATHENS, Ohio-- The Bobcats are back in action this week fot the final week of winter break before the spring semester begins next week. Wrestling, swimming, and both basketball teams will be competing.

Men's Basketball 
January 4 / at Akron / Akron, Ohio / James A Rhodes Arena / 6 p.m. / Live Stats / CBSSN
January 7 / vs. Kent State / Athens, Ohio / Convocation Center / 6:30 p.m. / Live Stats

The Bobcats will continue their MAC schedule this week with two conference games, starting with a road trip to Akron on Tuesday and returning home on Friday to take on Kent State. Ohio split their two games with the Zips last season, and were defeated by Kent State in the teams' only matchup of the season.

Swimming
January 7 / vs. Marshall / Athens, Ohio / Aquatic Center / 1 p.m.

Ohio comes home for its first home meet of the season. The Bobcats are coming off a second-place finish against 11 teams at the 2021 Magnus Cup Invitation at Cleveland State in November. Last season, the Bobcats defeated Marshall, 167-130.

Women's Basketball
January 8 / vs. NIU / Athens, Ohio / Convocation Center / 1 p.m. / ESPN3/+

The Bobcats will kick off their MAC schedule at home, with their first conference game in the Convo against Northern Illinois. The Bobcats only played the Huskies once last season, coming away with a win on the road.

Wrestling
January 4 / vs. Indiana / Athens, Ohio / Convocation Center / 7 p.m.

The wrestling team looks to continue its dominant stretch on Tuesday as Indiana comes to Athens for the Bobcats' second home dual of the season. The last time the Bobcats were at home, they defeated West Virginia, 30-9. Ohio is also riding a four-match dual win streak coming into this contest.
