ATHENS, Ohio -- The football team returns to action at Peden Stadium, the soccer team aims to stay atop the MAC standings, and volleyball hopes to build on their successful start to conference action this week. FOOTBALL

Ohio football fell short by a score of 27-26 to Buffalo on Saturday (Oct. 16) at UB Stadium on a last second field goal. The Bobcats return back to Athens, to take on Kent State Saturday (Oct. 23) at Peden Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
SOCCER

October 24 / at Central Michigan / Mount Pleasant, MI / CMU Soccer Complex / 1 p.m.
The Ohio Bobcats soccer team celebrated senior day Sunday (Oct. 17) afternoon with a 1-0 victory over Miami (OH). With the victory, the Bobcats remain undefeated in conference play.
Up next for the Bobcats is a home match-up against Eastern Michigan at 4 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 21) before hitting the road for a match at Central Michigan on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 24) at CMU Soccer Complex. Kick off at Central Michigan is set for 1 p.m.

The Ohio Bobcat Women's golf team will tee off at the Dayton Fall Invitational on Oct. 18 and 19 at NCR Country Club. This is the last tournament of the fall slate before heading into the Mid-American Conference Championships.

The Bobcat Field Hockey team returns to Athens for a pair of matches against Miami (OH) on Friday (Oct. 22) and Indiana on Sunday (Oct. 24). First touch is set for 2 p.m. against Miami (OH) and 11 a.m. against Indiana at Pruitt Field.
VOLLEYBALL

Ohio volleyball team swept Buffalo on the road last weekend to pick up its third straight win. Sophomore, Libero, Sam Steele was named Mid-American Conference East Defensive Player of the Week for her performance against Buffalo.
The Bobcats look to return home to Athens for three matches this week. They'll kick off the action on Wednesday night, as they welcome Kent State into the Convocation Center. The weekend will see the Bobcats play a pair of matches against MAC rival Akron on Friday (Oct. 22) at 7 p.m. and Saturday (Oct. 23) at 6 p.m.
