ATHENS, Ohio -- It's another busy week for Bobcat athletics, with eight teams in action. Both golf teams compete for the second week in a row, the football team looks to bounce back from a last-minute loss, the soccer team hopes to extend their winning streak, and much more. FOOTBALL
October 16 / at Buffalo / Buffalo, NY / UB Stadium / 12 p.m.
Ohio football fell short by a score of 30-27 to Central Michigan on Saturday (Oct. 9) at home in Peden Stadium. The Bobcats will look to bounce back as they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bulls Saturday, Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. at UB Stadium.
MEN'S GOLF

The Ohio Men's Golf team travels to Burlington, NC, teeing off at the Elon Phoenix Invitational, hosted by Elon University, at Alamance Country Club.
SOCCER

October 17 / vs. Miami (OH) / Athens, OH / Chessa Field / 1 p.m.
The Ohio Bobcats soccer team picked up its third straight conference win in their game against Northern Illinois on Sunday (Oct. 10) to remain undefeated in conference play.
The Bobcats will hit the road for a matchup against Ball State Thursday (Oct. 14) before returning to Athens for a match against Miami (OH) (Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.). Kick off at Ball State is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Briner Sports Complex.
WOMEN'S GOLF
October 11 / Rocket Classic / Port Clinton, OH / Catawba Island Club

The Ohio Bobcat Women's golf team will tee off at the Rocket Classic Oct. 11 and 12 at Catawba Island Club. The Bobcats are coming off an 11th-place finish in the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational.
FIELD HOCKEY
October 15 / at Central Michigan / Mt. Pleasant, MI / Cristy Freese Field / 1 p.m.
The Bobcat Field Hockey team will travel to Central Michigan for its fifth MAC conference match-up of the season. Ohio is currently 2-2 in conference play.
VOLLEYBALL
October 15 / at Buffalo / Buffalo, NY / Alumni Arena / 6 p.m.
October 16 / at Buffalo / Buffalo, NY / Alumni Arena / 4 p.m.
Ohio volleyball team picked up its second conference win last weekend, defeating Central Michigan 3-2 in five sets at home. The Bobcats will continue in conference play as they travel to take on Buffalo on Oct. 15 (6 pm) and Oct. 16. (4 pm).
SWIMMING
October 15 / at Kentucky / Lexington, KY / Lancaster Aquatic Center / 5 p.m.
Ohio Swimming continues its season on the road, taking on Kentucky (Friday, Oct. 15 at 5 p.m.) in its first meet of the 2021-22 season.
CROSS COUNTRY
October 15 / Penn State National Open / University Park, PA
The Bobcat Cross Country teams will travel to University Park to participate in the Penn State National Open on Friday, Oct. 15. The event is hosted by Penn State.
