- Javon Hagan recorded his first career interception and returned it 60-yards in the opening quarter.
- Toran Davis also recorded his second career interception and first since 2014.
- Chad Moore recorded his second forced fumble in as many games.
- Ohio recorded seven sacks, it was the most since 2014 at Kentucky.
- Kevin Robbins recorded his first career fumble recovery and touchdown. It was the first time Ohio recorded a fumble recovery in the end zone for a touchdown since Curtis Myers at Ohio State in 2008. It was also Ohio’s first defensive touchdown of the season.
- Casey Sayles had a career-high two sacks to lead Ohio. Blair Brown, Chad Moore, Tarell Basham, Randy Stites and Jalen Fox also had sacks.
- Sayles sacks marked the second time this season Ohio has had a player with two sacks in a game.
- Blair Brown, Chad Moore and Mayne Williams led Ohio with nine tackles. Nine was a career high for Moore and Williams.

- Michael Farkas had six punts for 232 yards, including pinning three inside the 20, tying a career best.
