The Short Story: Led by Hannah Boesinger ’s 18 points off the bench, the Ohio women’s basketball team (12-3, 3-1 MAC) got off to a 15-2 start against Mid-American Conference foe Eastern Michigan (7-7, 0-3 MAC) and never looked back, cruising to an 82-59 victory Wednesday night at the Convocation Center.

- Bobcats opened up the game on a 15-2 run that lasted through the first five minutes.
- The Bobcats were 17-of-30 from the field in the first half (56.7%).
- Ohio entered the half leading 44-25.
- Byard led the Bobcats with 12 points through the first half, going 4-of-7 from three- point range.

“It was nice to see. We talked Saturday after the home game and she wasn’t real happy with her shot. I said there was only one way to fix that and it was to get in the gym and work on shooting. She came in on Sunday and asked for some film on her shot so she could look at it. On Monday she got some extra time in. It’s nice to see and I enjoy watching kids who put the extra work in reap the rewards and I think she did tonight.”
