Game Notes

-       - This was just the seventh time that Ohio has been tied at the half under Head Coach Frank Solich, with a record now at 3-4 in those games

-       -  Despite the loss, Ohio’s record in Athens against Northern Illinois is 8-4

-       -  The Bobcats are now 7-3 wearing their black jerseys

 Offensive Notes

-       -  Running back A.J. Ouellette rushed for his team-leading seventh TD of the season in the second quarter

-       -  Wide receiver Aaron Bradley tied his season-high with two receptions

-       -  Six different players caught at least two passes for the Bobcats, with Jordan Reid recording a team-high 45 receiving yards

-       -  Ouellette caught his second TD of the season, moving him into a four-way tie for the team lead

-       -  Ouellette, Landon Smith and Sebastian Smith each tallied four catches to lead Ohio

-       -  Quarterback Derrius Vick finished with 19 completions and 141 yards, along with 12 carries for 80 yards

-       -  Ouellette now has back-to-back games with at least 100 rushing yards

-       -  Cornerback Ian Wells forced his first fumble of the season and the second of his career

-       -  Wells tallied a tackle for loss for the second straight game

-       -  Defensive lineman Casey Sayles recovered his first fumble of the season

-       -  Linebacker Quentin Poling recorded a career-high 10 solo tackles and a game-high 13 total tackles

-       -  Safety Thad Ingol tallied a season-high eight tackles

-       -  Linebacker Chad Moore recorded his first sack of the season and tallied a tackle for loss

-       - Moore and Antwan Crutcher each tied their season-highs with six tackles

 Special Teams Notes

-       -  Mitch Bonnstetter finished with three punts for 105 yards, averaging 35 yards per punt

-       -  Kicker Josiah Yazdani finished two for two on extra point attempts

-       -  Punt returner Daz’ Patterson recorded two returns for 23 total yards
