Matt Molde is General Manager for Ohio IMG Sports Marketing, the exclusive multi-media rights partner of Ohio Athletics. In this role, Molde manages the IMG College team in Athens and works hand-in-hand with the senior athletics administration staff to oversee the continued growth and success of corporate sponsorships and athletic marketing at Ohio. Included in his duties at Ohio is management of the Ohio IMG Sports Network (which includes 15 radio stations carrying live Bobcat events across central and southeast Ohio), supervision of all corporate signage in Ohio athletic venues and general oversight of the more than 120 corporate partners that support Ohio University Athletics.
Prior to joining the staff at Ohio in 2013, Molde spent five years as General Manager for IMG College in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) office handling all sponsorships for the conference and its championship events. Other career stops for Molde include collegiate multi-media rights positions with ISP Sports and Host Communications at Georgia Tech and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) respectively. He began his career in sports marketing as a graduate marketing intern at the University of South Carolina.
Molde graduated with a BS degree in Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and also holds a graduate degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University. He resides in Athens with his wife Missy and two children, Emma (6) and Zachary (2).
