ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio Athletics has named Caleb Beasecker the associate director of the Ohio Bobcat Club.
"I am thrilled to announce Caleb as the new associate director of the Ohio Bobcat Club," said Ken Winstead, senior associate athletics director for development. "He will be a great asset to us as he serves our donors in his new role."
Beasecker is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of the Ohio Bobcat Club's Annual Giving campaign, including the coordination of premium seating and parking, planning of all donor events and management of a donor portfolio. He will also serve as a fundraiser for various sport programs, lead the Ohio Bobcat Club's Annual Giving team, provides oversight for Varsity Ohio and works closely with the Ohio University Foundation, OHIO Alumni Association and Ohio Athletics Ticket Office staff.
"I am just so blessed to have the opportunity to work for a first-class institution like OHIO," said Beasecker. "Our alumni, our donors and our fans are so passionate about this school, and that is something I am excited to be a part of. This position also gives me the chance to work alongside and learn from some of the best professionals in intercollegiate athletics. Athens, Ohio is unlike anywhere I have ever been and I am happy to call this town my home."
Before joining the team as Associate Director, Beasecker served as a graduate assistant in the Ohio Bobcat Club. In this role he directed football premium seating and parking renewals, led a tour of Ohio Athletics facilities, staffed and managed the basketball hospitality area (Rohr Room), planned and executed the Ohio Bobcat Caravan Series and created the department Annual Report.
Prior to his arrival in Athens, Beasecker spent four years working in sales for Hibbett Sporting Goods, with his last year being in a managerial role. As a manager he oversaw the day to day operations of the store including scheduling, creating goals and hiring team members. During his time with Hibbett, he accounted for over $300,000 in sales individually.
Beasecker is a member of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD), has consulted for The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky with their Annual Giving program, and has worked in high school athletics, including time as a shot put and discus coach.
Beasecker is a native of Greenville, Ohio and graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport industry from Ohio State University. He is now an alumnus of OHIO, earning a master's degree in business administration ('18) and a master's degree in sports administration ('19) and proudly calls Athens his home.
