ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio women's track and field team has released its 2018-19 indoor schedule, head coach Clay Calkins announced today (Dec. 4).
The 2018-19 season will feature nine away meets starting with the Marshall Opener on Friday, Dec. 7. This will be a tri-meet between the Bobcats, the Thundering Herd, and Northern Kentucky in Huntington, W. Va.
The season will resume on Saturday, January 12, 2019 with Ohio traveling back to Marshall to compete in the Marshall Women's Classic.
The Bobcats will travel to five more indoor meets including the Akron Invitational, a two-day event starting Friday, Feb. 1, which will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 2.
The Bobcats will also send student-athletes to the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. The two-day event will begin on Friday, Feb. 1 and conclude on Saturday, Feb. 2.
Next, the Bobcats will head to the Kent State Qualifier, a two-day event starting Feb. 8, which will conclude on Feb. 9.
Finally, the 2018-19 Indoor MAC Championships will be hosted by Kent State on Feb. 22.
The NCAA Championships are to follow in Birmingham, Ala. in March.
