2016-2017 Season
Outdoor: Opened the outdoor season at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational in the triple jump where she jumped 10.63m and in the 400m where she clocked in a season-best time of 1:02.93… Recorded a season-best in the Bill Webb & Bob Davidson Spring Kick-Off 100m where she posted a time of 13.44 seconds… Placed second at the Ohio Cherry Blossom Invitational in the 4x400 with a time of 4:18.21… Recorded a season-best in the triple jump at the Charlotte Invitational where she reached 10.75m to place 10th… Placed second at the Denison Big Red Invitational with a triple jump reaching 10.44m… Ended the season at the Akron – Campbell Wright Open where she placed eighth in the triple jump reaching 9.96m and placed 11th in the 100m clocking in at 13.92.

Indoor: Made her freshman debut at the Marshall Opener where she placed second in the 4x400 with a time of 4:11.25 (season-best), third in the 600m with a time of 1:45.89 (season-best) and sixth in the triple jump where she reached 10.53m… Recorded a season-best time of 1:01.88 in the 400m at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invitational and a season-best jump of 10.61m in the triple jump at the Chipotle Marshall Invitational… Ended the season at the MAC Championships where she recorded a finish of 9.90m in the triple jump to place 18th overall.

Prior to Ohio: Played basketball and ran track at The Wellington School in Gahanna, Ohio under coach Robert Causey… Ran for the New World Track Club under coach, Roger Boyd… Was a member of the restarted track and field team for the Wellington School where 13 qualified for indoor states in the triple jump.

Personal: Daughter of Bob and Crystal Causey… Lists favorite teams as the Cleveland Cavaliers and her favorite hobby as music… Currently a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the Black Student Union, and BSCPB… Plans to major in Music Therapy to start her own private practice using fine arts.
