ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio women's basketball team (7-6, 1-1 MAC) returns to Athens on Saturday, Jan. 6 when the Bobcats host Mid-American Conference East foe Akron (6-7, 0-2 MAC). Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The game can be seen on ESPN3 where Jake Hromada and Toni Roesch will have the call. A WIN AGAINST AKRON WOULD...

ALL TIME AGAINST AKRON
- Ohio leads the all-time series against Akron, 40-18. 
- Ohio has won the last six matchups against the Zips dating back to Jan. 28, 2015. 
- Last season, the Bobcats swept the season series against the Zips, defeating Akron on Jan. 11 and March 4. 
- In the last game against Akron on March 4, the Bobcats won by the final of 62-48 in Athens.

-Next is Cierra Hooks who is averaging 12.5 points per game and is averaging a team-leading 4.9 rebounds a contest. She is also leading the team in steals with 40 for the season, while also adding 28 assists.
- Burke is averaging 3.3 rebounds per game, and leads the team with 39 free-throws made.  
- Dominique Doseck is adding 10.5 points a game and is leading the team with 29 three-pointers made. 
- Taylor Agler adds 8.6 points a game and 3.2 rebounds to go along with her team-leading 56 (4.3) assists. 
- As a team, Ohio is averaging 66.8 points a game while allowing opponents to score 65.7 points a game. 
- Ohio is shooting .365 from the field, .271 from three-point range and .636 from the free throw line. 
- The Bobcats are averaging 31.5 rebounds a game, 11.0 assists per game and 2.1 blocks a game.

- On Dec. 31, Doseck scored a career-high 27 points against Toledo. It was the first time all season that a Bobcat score 20 or more points. 
- Doseck was named MAC East Player of the Week on Jan. 2 for her performance the week of Dec. 25. 

THE LAST TIME WE SAW OHIO
- Ohio is coming off of an 82-58 loss at Central Michigan on Jan. 3
- Cierra Hooks scored 16 points, going 6-of-14 from the field and 4-of-7 from the free throw line while grabbing six rebounds in 27 minutes.
- Amani Burke scored 13 points, going 4-of-12 from the field, 1-of-5 from three-point range and 4-of-6 from the free throw line.
- As a team, Ohio shot 21-of-61 (.344), 5-of-20 (.238) from three-point range and 11-of-19 (.579) from the free throw line.
- The Bobcats forced CMU into 15 turnovers and scored 15 points off of them. They also dished out six assists, had three blocks and four steals. The Bobcats were also outrebounded 47-28.
- The Bobcats also scored 30 points in the paint, had 29 bench points and four fast break points.
- CMU was led by Tinara Moore with 22 points and 16 rebounds, followed by Presley Hudson with 20, then Cassie Breen with 13 and Reyna Frost with 10 points and 15 boards.
- CMU went 30-of-61 (.492) from the field, 8-of-19 (.421) from three-point range and 14-of-15 (.933) from the free throw line.

IN AKRON'S LAST GAME
- Akron is coming off of a 60-54 loss to Toledo on Jan. 3. 
- Leading the Zips was Shaunay Edmonds with 13 points, going 6-of-14 from the field and 1-of-3 from three-point range. She also had six assists and four steals. 
- Greta Burry added nine points and five rebounds for Akron, while Haliegh Reinoehl had a team-high 10 rebounds. 
- As a team, Akron went 23-of-59 (.390) from the field, 5-of-22 (.227) from beyond the arc and 3-of-4 (.750) from the free throw line. 
- The Zips turned the ball over 24 times while forcing Toledo into 22 turnovers. Akron also had 13 steals and 14 assists. 
- For Toledo, Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott had 18 points and Mikaela Boyd added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
